We currently have a vacancy in our Nursing Department for a
Health Care Support Worker to join our busy team.
 
The candidates must ideally be competent phlebotomists however, training can be provided. Experience in Health Care essential.
 
Working hours will be 8.00am – 6.30pm (1hr lunch), 4 days a week.

Practice Manager – Full Time Position

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and accomplished Practice Manager to join our friendly, innovative semi-rural training practice on the Lincolnshire/ Cambridgeshire border.  The main site is modern and purpose built.

The practice is a long-established training practice with an excellent reputation and provides primary care services to 24000 patients over two sites.  The practice has high QOF achievement and is rated “Good” by CQC. 

This role will require you to have excellent leadership skills, with previous experience of managing a large team.

Key candidate attributes required are:

  • Motivated, confident and decisive: to lead, support and guide our Senior Management Team.
  • Personable: with over 100 team members it is imperative that you bring strong interpersonal skills with a good sense of humour to the organisation.
  • Innovative: to bring new ideas and new ways of working to the surgery. This will include a strong business acumen.
  • IT Literate: Ideally familiar with NHS IT systems. EMIS Web is our main clinical system which is accompanied by a range of additional third party support systems.

General Practice is changing significantly and this is an exciting time for development, particularly due to the current situation as new working patterns and systems are evolving at a rapid rate.  The ideal candidate will support our vision for the future of how we can best meet the needs of our patients.  NHS Experience is desirable, but not essential.
