Care Quality Commission Inspection
The CQC Inspection Team will be visiting the Deepings Practice on Tuesday 2nd December 2014 as part of their scheduled inspections of all Health Care organisations.
During this inspection the team will:
- Ask patients about their experiences of receiving care;
- Talk to the practice staff;
- Check that we have the right systems and processes in place; and
- Look for evidence that the services we provide are not meeting the required national standards
The CQC Inspection Team welcomes feedback on your experiences and there are CQC Comment Cards available at each Reception point which you are welcome to complete and post in the secure comments box provided prior to their arrival.
Who Are the Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.
Their job is to make sure that care provided by hospitals, dentists, ambulances, care homes, and services in people’s own homes and elsewhere meets national standards of quality and safety. They also protect the interests of vulnerable people, including those whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act.
They put the views, experiences, health, and wellbeing of people who use services at the centre of their work, and they have a range of powers that they can use to take action if people are getting poor
