Patient Access - Nominated Pharmacy

Following the re-launch of Patient Access Online Services you will have noticed a new area for nominated Pharmacy.  This is not a mandatory field and you do NOT have to complete it, you can in fact just click "Not Now" to bypass the question.

If you wish to continue collecting your prescription from the practice you can also delete the nominated pharmacy via your profile page.

Enhanced SMS Text Messaging Service

We have recently enabled a more enhanced SMS Text messaging service in the practice.

This new enhanced service will allow you to cancel those appointments that you can no longer attend by simply replying CANCEL to the appointment confirmation/reminder text message instead of having to call the practice.

In addition to this, we will able to send you updates on the annual health checks, when you medication review is due, when your prescription is ready for collection or if there is a problem with a prescription request saving you from unnecessary visits to the practice.

If you have a mobile phone, are over 16 and would like to receive SMS messages then please complete the consent form below and hand it in at reception.

For now, this service is not available for 13 to 15 year olds, although they will be able to re-register in their own right from their 16th birthday.


Patient Access - Normal Service has been restored!

Normal service has been restored to the online service portal Patient Access.

If you are still unable to login then please contact the surgery to reset your account details (after which you will need to register for the service or alternatively contact the Patient Access Support portal at https://support.patientaccess.com.


Patient Access - Unable to log in - Thursday 31 May.

Please be aware that there is currently an ongoing issue whereby a number of users are intermittently unable to log onto the Patient Access website to book appointments and / or order repeat prescriptions.

This service is run by the EMIS Health group who provide our electronic clinical system and so the practice cannot provide any updates for when this is likely to be resolved however you can check on their support status web page by clicking on the link https://support.patientaccess.com/status.

Patients who use Evergreen Life to access there repeat prescriptions or to book appointments are not affected by this issue.
