Seasonal Flu Vaccination

Are you a registered patient of the Deepings Practice? Are you, or is your child an "At Risk" patient?

This Year our Saturday Flu Clinics will be held on:

  • 29th September
  • 13th October
  • 3rd November

The Department of Health recommends that all "At Risk" patients in the following categories are advised to have an influenza vaccination.

Patients aged sixty-five and over or adults and children with any of the following:

  • Diabetes
  • Heart Disease
  • Respiratory Disease
  • Chronic Liver Disease
  • Splenectomy
  • Chronic Neurological Disease
  • Morbidly Obese
  • Immuno-suppression
  • Chronic Renal Disease.

Also eligible are main carers for the elderly or disabled.

Please Note when booking: Children’s nasal vaccination (under 18) are not available until mid-October.

Deeping and Glinton Volunteer Car Scheme

This scheme is for the benefit of the people of The Deepings and surrounding villages who are registered with Deeping Medical Practice, particularly those who have no transport of their own or cannot use public transport.

We are in need of volunteer drivers, if you have time to spare and are a car owner then please contact Alan or Gordon on 07858373912 between 2 and 4 pm for an application form and a chat, forms also available at the Market Deeping Health Centre, please ask at reception. Driver’s expenses are covered as a small charge is made in line with HMRC rates.

We are currently looking for a Maternity GP Locum (8 sessions/wk), Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse (up to 37 hrs/wk) and a Health Care Support Worker (30 hrs/wk).  For further information please click here.
